Tom Schreiner Conference
We will be hosting Dr. Schreiner for a two-day event with multiple opportunities on both Saturday and Sunday to learn about Biblical covenants in the Old and New Testaments, and how Christ’s supremacy is shown through both.

Breakfast and Q&A on “Covenant and God’s Purpose for the World” Geared towards Sunday School teachers, this session is open for everyone to audit. Sunday School teachers are encouraged to come and interact with Dr. Schreiner and ask him questions about his book. Free breakfast will be provided to all attendees. Saturday, April 27th at 6:00 PM Preaching: The Supremacy of Christ over the Old Covenant All churches in the area will be invited to join us for this event. Sunday, April 28th at 9:30 AM Dr. Schreiner Interviewed by Pastor Lucas Adult Sunday School classes will be combined for this session. Sunday, April 28th at 10:45 AM Preaching: The Supremacy of Christ over the New Covenant Dr. Schreiner will be preaching during our morning worship service. |

Thomas R. Schreiner is the esteemed James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Biblical Theology and the Associate Dean of the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Schreiner has also taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University and Bethel Theological Seminary. He received a B.S. from Western Oregon University, an M.Div. and Th.M. from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and a Ph.D. in New Testament from Fuller Theological Seminary. An expert in the study of Paul's letters in the New Testament, Dr. Schreiner has contributed significantly to biblical scholarship through his numerous books. These include his commentary on Romans, insights into the interpretation of Paul's letters, discussions on Pauline theology of law, biblical theology of perseverance, contemporary perspectives on grace and divine election, and a unique take on Paul's significance in Christian theology. He is also one of the pastors of Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He is married to Diane and they have four children.

Covenant and God's Purpose for the World is the book that Dr. Schreiner will be answering questions about during the Saturday morning session, posed by our Sunday School teachers.

The King in His Beauty - A Biblical Theology of the Old and New Testaments is one of the books Dr. Schreiner most loved writing, he said, explaining that being able to see how Scripture fits together is a joy.

Interpreting the Pauline Epistles will help the reader understand the nature of first-century letters, do textual criticism, investigate historical and introductory issues, probe theological context, and much more.
