The Salt Mine

Welcome to The Salt Mine, Central's Youth Ministry! Our mission is discipleship and our desire is showing God's love in such a way that people will exchange death for life through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. God has reached down from heaven through His Son, Jesus Christ by grace bringing us faith, hope, and love. With an enduring love that never gives up, Christ is empowering The Salt Mine to the same gospel to reach out and minister to teenagers weekly in our church and community.

Our name The Salt Mine, simply reminds us to fix our eyes on Jesus, staying close to Him. Scripture teaches, "Salt is good; but if the salt becomes unsalted, with what will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another." It is through Christ alone that salvation comes and it is in Christ alone we accomplish good works.

Sunday School

 Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., we currently have one youth Sunday School class for grades 7th - 12th teaching from Answers In Genesis Sunday School curriculum. 

Mid-Week Bible Study

Central’s youth group meets together on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Student Building. This time is a great opportunity to build relationships with one another and grow in the Lord together!​
