The Salt Mine

Welcome to The Salt Mine, Central's Youth Ministry! Our mission is discipleship and our desire is showing God's love in such a way that people will exchange death for life through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. God has reached down from heaven through His Son, Jesus Christ by grace bringing us faith, hope, and love. With an enduring love that never gives up, Christ is empowering The Salt Mine to the same gospel to reach out and minister to teenagers weekly in our church and community.

Our name The Salt Mine, simply reminds us to fix our eyes on Jesus, staying close to Him. Scripture teaches, "Salt is good; but if the salt becomes unsalted, with what will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another." It is through Christ alone that salvation comes and it is in Christ alone we accomplish good works.

Sunday School

 Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., we invite our youth to participate in a Sunday School lesson given by Jeff Frisco in the Choir Room. 

Mid-Week Bible Study

Our youth group meetings are currently on hiatus and our youth are encouraged to join in our weekly prayer meeting at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall
